The Silvermanes was established in 1982 with 103 members. These people were the members who were responsible for our lodge’s early years in existence. They were the dedicated members who volunteered many hours for events and parties that were held at this lodge. Many times there were parties both upstairs and down at the same time requiring many hands. Of the original members only two are still members and attend almost every meeting. They are Glenn Fringer and Viola Brown. Doris Zank, our current Vice-President was among the early members. The past two months we have welcomed in 9 new members. I know there are many more eligible to join which require that you are a member of Lodge 1329 or Chapter 364 and admit to being 55 or older. Meetings are held the 2nd Wednesday of the month at 1:00pm. Often we have a luncheon at noon. Currently pinochle and bingo are played after the meeting but, if you get a group that would rather play something else that is possible. Please join us at a meeting and consider joining us for an afternoon of socializing after very short meetings.
